Wolf Blass Merlot

| Feb 14, 2006
Wolf Blass Merlot I recently tasted this lovely rich purple coloured Merlot, and what a joy it was. It has aromas of cherry and plum with hints of smoky oak and spicy fruit on the palate. It’s just fabilicious.A

This Merlot is medium bodied with a good length of finish. It is well balanced for such a young red, but Wolf Blass Merlotagain this is to be expected from Wolf Blass. FYI, Wolf Blass has won many awards for it’s wines.

The subtle oak influence has married well with the fruit flavours and is great for pizza or some meaty spaghetti. However, it is perfect with a juicy steak, roast lamb, or if you’re Australian, with some kangaroo meat!
