Signs of Boredom

A U.S.-based management consulting firm did a survey and asked over 700 CEOs at what age they felt people’s productivity peaked, the average response was 43. The signs of age that employers complain about are less enthusiasm, less creativity and less productivity. These are all signs of boredom. (:-O

There is a trejectory in traditional career: it rises, then peaks and declines. Once you get everything there is to know about a job down pat, you run out of challenges and everything becomes a little too easy. The solution is to find new challenges. Take on more responsibility, innovate, improve what you doing, learn new skills. Quite your job is you have to :-), switch disciplines, get on another path before the boredom saps your engery. Do it!
