Shirt & Tie
Once upon a time there were rules as to what shirt you could wear with what tie. For example, no stripes on stripes!, no checks on checks! Those rules no longer apply. Today, we are prepared to accept any kind of coordination of shirt, tie, jacket, and pocket square, provided it has a pleasing harmony to the eye. (?!)
Now, how can you ensure you have this so called “harmony”?
Simple I say. Think of choir. If your shirt,A tie and jacket are all singing their own songs, fortissimo, you run the risk of a visual cacophony :-). It’s better to give one of them the lead part, and let others be the backup. Let me have harmony. I’m sure you get the picture…
