Pi Day!
Well, apparently today isA Pi Day, chosen because the digits on this date correspond with the first 3 digits of Pi (3.14). :-)

Obviously you know Pi is the ratio of the circle’s circumference to its diameter, but did you also know that Math enthusiasts worldwide celebrate March 14 as “Pi Day”, and many believe that it isn’t official until 1:59pm? And, the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco created a colour-coded chain of beads to represent the digits of pi. Each colour represents a different number. So far, they’ve got more than 1,700 beads…
