Knowledge Workers

| Mar 15, 2007

Peter Drucker, in his book “Post Capitalist Society”, mentions the term “knowledge workers” to refer to people who create, innovate, synthesize, strategize, analyze, instruct, integrate and interpret. These people are/will be in huge demand in virtually any field: IT, entertainment, banking, financial services, retailing, health care, law, telecom, farming, all sciences … and many more.

I say that is just part of the puzzle. The follow-through in the marketplace — the use or application of knowledge for commercial purposes — is also essential.
