Get Out!
Many of us will suffer losses and setbacks in our careers, but that does not mean we are down for the count. Who among us wins every time? The truth is that we all must take care of ourselves, take action to maximize our own potential and that of our children. If you are in a declining industry, get out. If you are in a dead-end job, get training and upgrade or, if that is not possible, get out. If you live in a dead region, move. That’s easy for me to say :-), but the alternative is worse.
