Financial Planning!?
These days you read and watch so much on financial planning and retirement planning. Invest your RRSPs here… there… Yet it is all so confusing. The more I read, the muddier it gets. Apart from the obvious… no one can tell you exactly how to invest your money for maximum returns — stocks, bonds, cash,A mutual funds, real estate? One article is different from the other, and Banks contradict each other. All that the financial gurus can do is look at probabilities.
Will history repeat itself, or is it really different this time? No one can tell you precisely how much money you will need for financial security, and no one can tell you how long you will live. There are no cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all solutions, and no one can predict the future, my future, with any certainty at all. We must all make assumptions and operate with uncertaintly!
