COM Generator
In my last article I wrote about PowerBuilder?_Ts component generators and in particular, the JavaBean Proxy. Judging by the number of responses I?_Tve received, the COM generator was feeling left out, and therefore, deserves more attention.
Now, as you might know already, the PowerBuilder Enterprise version 6.0 includes a new project component generator infrastructure that enables support for open interfaces to PowerBuilder objects. These component generators enable you to create non-visual business objects and then deploy in a variety of standard object models. With version 6.5, we?_Tve been given two new generators for the creation of COM objects and JavaBean Proxy classes.
