Domesticated!
The song by Tony Bennett, also by Frank Sinatra says “I Left My Heart in San Francisco”… but nah, I won’t leave my heart here cos I left my heart back at home.
There is nothing in this world that I enjoy more than being with my family. What better else is there in life? The thought of walking through the door after work and knowing they’re there to greet me just makes me want to get there quicker.A To see my son grow scares the heck out of me, but it also amazes me how great he is and I wonder how great he will be. Oh and there are plenty of rough spots but it’s all worth it. Sometimes I want to just go home and relax, but, “DAD, I’M BORED!”
If I do nothing else right in my life, I know I’ve done one right thing, and that’s becoming :-) “domesticated”.
